Overview
The Department for Work and Pensions
is one of Meads longest standing accounts, having been
initially won in 1995 and since has been successfully
re-tendered. The department has undergone numerous internal
changes since we won it and the nature of our work has
changed with it. From a simple storage and fulfilment
service under the DFEE to our current role that encompasses
database management, consultancy and supply chain management.
In many ways this account is the epitome of Meads commitment
to a partnership approach to business, over the last
three years working together we have been able to reduce
the departments overall costs by £500,000 and
increased our internal capacity by 30%.

Boots
Overview
Meads has been working with Boots for
over 15 years, in the first instance providing an overspill
service for point of sale kit collations. From new product
launches, and seasonal varieties to specific campaigns
the account has developed whereby we distribute POS
on a larger scale and expanded our service base into
a range of kit collations, product re-conditioning and
over labelling. Our involvement with nationwide campaigns
such as the pamper child wrist strap and the Christmas
3 for 2 promotion have helped make Boots one of our
most valued and largest customers.

Powergen
Overview
Powergen have been with Meads for the
last few years. Our role has been in the storage and
inventory management of various corporate gifts. We
currently have in store a diverse mix of items ranging
from tumblers and glasses to pens and flags, even some
costumes from their TV advertisements. In addition to
storage we also provide a fulfilment service for their
corporate and sponsorship events, when hitting deadlines
is paramount.

Elizabeth Arden
Overview
The Elizabeth Arden account developed
from our relationship with Boots, where we were recommended
for POS collation and despatch. This account has evolved
over the past five years so that we are a centralised
point of contact to collate their POS and POP with the
relevant gifts with purchase kit collations that we
perform in house.

Meads provides below the line services
to a range of full service and sale promotion marketing
agencies. We have been involved with a range of new
product launches, direct mailings and storage and fulfilment
for numerous industries including beverages, cars, perfumery
houses and communications. From goods being held up
in customs, to problems with design and copy, our customers
have counted on our years of experience and flexibility
to provide solutions to ensure deadlines are met.
Some of the campaigns we have been
involved in include Bentley "Continental"
car launch, WKD "text to win", Givenchy in
store promotions and Dell computer mailings.

Nottingham University
A recent client, Meads was invited to participate in
a four way tendering exercise to provide a one stop
service provider for international and domestic mailings
and fulfilment. The proposal covered the entire spectrum
of their below the line marketing requirements, our
automated prospectus fulfilment will reduce their response
times, freeing up time for the internal staff who where
previously processing orders. As part of our commitment
to a transparent supply chain, Meads has designed and
developed an individual website for the University centralising
the mailing and fulfilment activities and providing
them with accurate data in real time.
